Not a good time to be making redundancies at work! Yikes. Theyre threatening our whole department. My position in particular is being threatened. Basically theres 75 posts and 81 people so 6 will be losing their job. My boss tells me not to worry as they would most likely get rid of agency & contractors before the permament staff (me) but theres still that little niggle in the back of my mind.
Do I tell them now to try and get sympathy (yeah right) or do I not tell them to save them
thinking Ill be leaving anyway so why not now?
Best not to tell them. Ill be keeping this a secret until this all blows over...that is if I still have a job.
